Ready to take your yoga practice upside-down?
Sirsasana (Headstand) is the focus of this playful workshop. We will use complimentary poses and asana techniques to build focus, balance & confidence in our bodies and minds as we work towards a supported headstand - plus a few fun variations!
All are welcome, whether you are new to headstands or looking to further refine this posture.
Minimum registration of 3 participants. Maximum of 7.

A weekend workshop providing a deep dive into this dynamic style of yoga - practised together in a fun and supportive environment.
We will be exploring postures from the Primary Series and working our way towards Navasana (Boat Pose), breaking down the actions of each pose to create a yoga practice that suits you. Along with the postures, we will also focus on other key aspects of this practice such as breath and bandhas.

All levels welcome! This is a great workshop to set you up for attending the weekly Ashtanga Led Half Primary class offered here at Inhale to Exhale (or another public Led Primary class) with more confidence and includes 1 class pass to attend the Ashtanga - Led 1/2 Primary class offered at Inhale to Exhale on Thursday evenings.
Class Packs cannot be applied towards this workshop.

Check out this 75 minute class where together we break down poses, use repetition to gain comfort, and explore the practice of yoga in a fun and open environment! This is the kind of class where you can pause, ask in-the-moment questions, and try different pose variations in a supported way.
This class is suitable for both experienced yogis and those brand new to practicing yoga and experienced yogis looking for a gentler paced class. Wondering if yoga might be a good fit for you, or if you have particular health or mobility concerns (ie. balance, flexibility, mobility) - this class offers many options to tailor the practice to meet you where you are at right now.
All props provided. You are welcome to bring a personal yoga mat & props, if desired.

All levels are welcome in this medium-paced class.
The Ashtanga Led Half Primary follows the traditional sequence and count of the Primary Series poses and includes standing & seated postures, back bending, and full closing sequence.
Repetition is the name of the game here, so don't worry if it's your first time in this class - you'll soon fit right in! Many of the poses are held for 5+ breaths, with fluid movement transitions guided between poses.
Offering an opportunity to explore the depth of the practice using breath, postures, bandhas and drishti, this warming practice tends to increase strength, flexibility and focus. While we practice cultivating meditation in motion, you'll also find a number of tips shared along the way to keep your practice growing.
