hello & welcome to my bio!
It is often a challenge to talk about myself... what would you like to know about me?
An old soul, I tend follow the whispers of my adventurous spirit and am a bit of a wanderer.
A healer at heart, who truly enjoys helping others.
What I am thinking usually falls out of my mouth - and not always tactfully - to my great chagrin!
My time is spent writing, traveling, reading, and moving my body - preferably somewhere close to nature.
When indoors, I can be found drinking mountains of tea with loved ones and piling them with home baked goodies.

My love for yoga began in 2007 while searching for a way to maintain a healthy lifestyle,
especially with the challenges that come along with shiftwork.
My passion for this practice has only continued to grow!
I began to teach in 2011, and am privileged to have studied with some amazing mentors from across the globe.

In 2018, I began studies to become a Yoga Therapist.
This felt like a natural progression that allowed me to join my two passions - medicine and yoga.
The pandemic changed things in the yoga world,
allowing for more online sessions and consultations.
I cannot fully describe the joy that comes from sharing the wisdom from these time-honoured practices and
seeing the connections that are made working with students and clients.
I have continued to hone my education and practices specializing in women’s health -
including the peri-menopause / menopause transition, TBI, chronic pain and MKS injury, breast cancer,
long CoVid syndrome, as well as stress and burnout.

I continue to work as a flight paramedic in Ontario, I position I have held for many years.
The name "Inhale to Exhale" was inspired in part by the work I do in transport medicine.

Yoga has changed my life. It is with that simple fact in mind that I choose to share it with others.
Using breath and body awareness, I tend to lead with a focus on connection,
and believe that having fun is a vital part of the practice.
